Designed and built.
In the course of the design and build contract for the Motorway Sebeș–Turda Lot 4, PORR realised various infrastructure constructions for a 16.3km long section of the partially-built motorway A10.
Located in the northwestern part of Romania, the Sebeș–Turda Motorway will connect the pan-European Corridor IV in the area of Sebeș with the Transylvanian Motorway around Turda. The design and construction of the motorway with a total length of about 70km was split into four lots.
PORR Construct S.R.L. and PORR Bau GmbH received the contract for Lot 4 with a total length of 16.3km.
The venture comprised 420,000m² asphalt road, 17 motorway bridges including two viaducts, as well as 13 overpasses and underpasses crossing the motorway and two short-term parking areas.
Lot 4 required a lot of complex traffic planning. In the end, the project included 17 motorway bridges including two viaducts as well as 13 overpasses and underpasses on only 16.3km.© PORR
