Construction of a factory.
Back in 2006 and 2007, the entire construction site for the Egger chipboard factory in Radauti was in the hands of PORR Construct S.R.L. Our specialist team was in charge of earthworks, civil engineering, sewerage and road construction works as well as the relocation of one river bed.
The sheer amount of the completed work might be best presented by the following figures:
Built-up area: 230,000m²
Asphalt: 80,000m²
Humus erosion: 168,000m2
Earthmoving and landfill: 105,000m3
Soil stabilisation (40cm): 85,000m2
Dirt cover first layer (25cm): 96,000m2
Concrete pipes (DN 700 to DN 1,800): 700m
Bituminous base course: 2,000t
After 13 months of groundwork operations performed by PORR in 2006 and 2007, the factory started its chipboard production in 2008.
