Ski lift Gura Humorului

In 2008 PORR Construct S.R.L. was assigned the construction of a new ski slope and the associated facilities in Gura Humorului, Suceava County.

The project included the construction of a 1,478m long ski slope with an average gradient 19.7%, and a vertical rise of 283m. Furthermore, we handled the construction of a new ski lift system with a length of 1,330m and a new artificial snowmaking machine as well as the installation of the ski slope lighting and the annex building at the ski lift substation.

The execution of the electricity, the water supply lines, the water catchment plant and the sewerage were also in the hands of PORR. Finally, the contract also covered the rehabilitation of the access road and construction of a parking area.

In January 2010, all the works were finished on time and to the full satisfaction of the customer.
