All-inclusive road rehabilitation.
In autumn 2012, PORR took on the rehabilitation of a 20km long national road between Brad and Ionesti. The section is part of the road DN76, connecting the cities of Deva and Oradea in the northwest of Romania.
In detail, the contract comprised the rehabilitation of six bridges, the restoration of a railway crossing, landscaping, earthworks, paving, repairing the existing road structure as well as drainage systems for rainwater.
Also included were green spaces, new pavements, the installation of level crossings, side roads, gateways to private property, new guardrails, reconstruction of drainage ditches, parking areas and bus stations, and environmental and hydro-engineering works.
Over the course of three years, PORR showed its broad know-how in this versatile road construction project. In October 2015 the rehabilitation works were completed.
